If you’re planning on launching a new program or service, or you’re increasing your existing prices then determining what to charge, how to structure and deliver your services will all be important things you’ll want to have completed.
However what’s really important is your energy. How you feel about your pricing, the value you feel you’re bringing to your work at that price, and your beliefs about it.
In other words you need to feel aligned and congruent with your offering based on where you are on your pricing journey. If you’re not comfortable or aligned then others will sense this and it’ll impact on your client intake.
My clients tend to grow into their premium pricing over time, but to accelerate that journey it helps if they address their ‘pricing mindset’ alongside taking action to sell their services.
So how do you address your pricing mindset? I’m going to share 3 empowering pricing questions to ask yourself if you’re unsure about your prices.
These questions are very helpful if you’re undercharging or over-delivering for your services.
1/ What would I need to believe to charge what I’m worth for selling this program/service at this $ price?
2/ Who do I need to ‘become’ to sell at the price level I desire?
3/ What do I value about my prices?
I recommend writing down the first answers that come to mind in a notepad or journal. Give yourself permission and time to explore these questions and write down as many words as you need to.
Based on your answers, what do you need to change or transform? Perhaps it’s given you confirmation that you’re happy with your pricing. Or maybe you need further support in this area.
Feel free to let me know what ‘came up’ for you, I’d love to hear your feedback.
Until next time…
