They say that ‘What is true in the mind, is true in the body!’
I would say that this is also true for business too. What you believe in, and therefore act upon will be reflected in the way your business progresses – or doesn’t progress!
For example if you believe that you can only earn a limited amount of income then that’s what’s going to show up for you.
If you believe that online advertising doesn’t work because the last two campaigns you ran didn’t produce the results you wanted, then maybe you’ll believe that this method is not great for your business.
Our beliefs about what is possible for us can be held up by our industry, those we surround ourselves with and how we personally deal with change and growth. I would encourage you to look closely at your beliefs and to become aware of the stories you tell yourself such as these common ones below:
” There’s too many other people doing the same as me”
” No one in my area will pay for my services”
” I have to work really hard to earn a high income”
” I’m not experienced enough to rise my prices”
I encourage you to become more self aware of the thoughts that maybe holding you back in your business. Write down those that you most think about, and really ask yourself if they are true or are they coming from a place of fear and lack.
The company we spend time can influence our thoughts and beliefs about what is possible for us. Are your close peers or the people you spend most of your time with lifting you up, or pulling you down?
If you want to really grow your business then learn whatever you can about those areas that will help you to build your business – such as sales, marketing and strategy. Seek out a tribe of like-minded people who are supportive in helping you reach the goals and aspirations for your business. If you need further guidance, accountability and focus then working with a business coach will help. They will help you to work ON your mindset and the strategy needed to help you reach your business goals.
Until next time…
