It’s time to take Massive Action
Just over a week ago I spent four days at a Tony Robbin’s conference in London. I had such a blast!
I walked across 12ft of hot burning coals with my bare feet (was scary but I did it), had lots of a-ha moments and I met some amazing business people from around the world.
Attending a Tony Robbins conference has been on my vision board for sometime. So when I saw he was coming to London this year, I was eager to make it happen.
There were considerations such as:
– It was during the Easter holidays when my young children were at home
– Although I live relatively close to the city it would require a 3 night stay over at a hotel as the daily agenda was typically 10am-12 midnight
No doubt the other 8000 attendees from 69 countries had their own considerations, however the one thing we all did was to take MASSIVE ACTION to be there.
If you think back to the biggest transformations that have taken place in your business and life – did they involve taking massive action? The chances are they did.
When you start a business it requires massive action, when you want to jump to the next level it requires massive action.
So what’s stopping you?
It could be family commitments, time or money – the biggest and most common traits are around fear and the thoughts that we often tell ourselves.
So what causes us to eventually take action?
Tony Robbins talks about this and says at some level we are driven by pleasure or pain – for example when the pain becomes unbearable we’ll make a change.
Rather than waiting for these extremities to happen as a driver for change, write down what you really want for your business and then identify what is really stopping you?
Look beyond the surface and see if there is a limiting thought that you keep telling yourself that could be holding you back?
80% of success is mindset and 20% strategy therefore you want to be working on both to achieve the goals for your business.
By ‘working’ I’m referring to actually implementing the information that you’ve acquired. It’s easy to learn strategies and new techniques but the results come from applying what you’ve learnt into your business.
The biggest shifts I have experienced in my business are linked to taking massive action and having a coach/mentor or mastermind group to guide and keep me accountable.
If you feel as though you’re not taking action right now and you want to make a change in your business, then it’s time to take responsibility and to make it happen.
Want to make a change, let’s make it happen
Here’s to your success!
